Today, thousands of people still in the posts of evacuation for their inability to rebuild their homes which swept away by the flood.

Tsunami waves reached 7 meters height swept across the Mentawai archipelago. This day (30/10) at least 413 people listed as dead, 298 still missing, 270 people suffered from serious injuries, and 142 got slight injuries. As many as 517 homes were also severely damaged and 204 houses slightly damaged, meanwhile, evacuated residents noted up to 22.595 people. The number of casualties is expected to grow as the lack of aid and volunteers due to the limited means of transportation to reach locations of the disaster.

As a result of the eruption of Merapi Mount, 35 people listed as dead and the number of refugees reached 30.000 inhabitants.
